The Human Canvas - Melissa

This one actually goes back a bit. On the same night that I did the koi drawing on Bree (New Year's Eve - at The Big Apple Cafe in Murray Kentucky), another person at the table had said that she'd be a "canvas" for me. So...meet Melissa.

This was another case of the model not caring (so much) what went onto her. So...what to do?

I started laying down an Ankh...

...which ended up being not very Ankh-like...

...But again - it's ink, it's there - trudge on forward...

...Try to make it a successful drawing...even though it wasn't what I had in mind initially.

So we ended up with some kinda Ankh-like, female symbol-like piece...

It seemed appropriate...

...And we were smiling.

This piece truly wraps up 2010. I was, literally, working on it right up to 11:59.  This will then be the last entry onto the page  for "the Human Canvas". The tab is up above, but HERE is a link anyway. Several more pieces have been done in 2011, and a new page for this is about to be created...and continually updated. Thanks again for stopping by.
